Thankful for Sunday's

Hello to Everyone.
Thank you for stopping by my blog.
I hope you enjoy .
I have been doing a 30 day of
Thankful
Each day I tell you what I am thankful for.
Well, Today I am Thankful for
Sunday
Yes, I love Sunday's
Sunday's are a special day. . of course I believe Sunday's belong to the Lord.
But, never the less, they are different.
It is a day to relax from the "everyday".
It is a day to refresh the mind, and the spirit and the body.
I can never remember a time when I didn't feel the special-ness of
 Sunday. . .
I love the feeling it gives me.
The refreshing atmosphere of happiness
The relaxation, the slowness of the day.
I like going to Church, partaking of  the Sacrament
Singing the hymns of praise and gratitude.
I love to read my scriptures. . and to ponder the words of the Savior.
I love to Pray
Not only on Sunday but every day.
But on Sunday my Prayers seem to be more heartfelt.
More in tune with my desires, my cares.
And being in tune with myself, brings me more in-tune
To my Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ.
And so today and everyday I am
Thankful for Sunday.
I hope you have a blessed and happy

October 2013

It takes me a while but I eventually get back to my roots in
Karie's Daley Life.
I am just a little a lot consumed in

Be sure to visit me there.
It is now October 2013

Just seems that life keeps moving forward.
Lots of new and exciting things happening and yet it is the
Same old life, I am living.
But I love it.
Totally busy with children and grandchildren.
That is never ending and I never want it to end.
They are my life I love them and love being with them.
I take my calling as a mother very serious
It is the highest calling of womanhood.
Mother and being a wife have been my cherished treasures in this life
And they will be after I am gone form this earth.
We Jackson's know how to have fun
(The the big Jackson boy)
(A couple of the Princesses)
(The oldest Prince)
(Second to the oldest Prince)
(There is the Youngest Prince)
And a couple of the Momma's
But of course I am the Big Momma, and Queen of the Jackson's
And we know how to cry and cheer one another up.
Lots of ups and downs in this life.
But that is what it is all about.
I hold strong to my belief in  Jesus Christ.
I have had a few experiences lately that re affirm my knowledge of
His reality and His ever watchful eye upon me and my family
I will be back sooner than you expect.
Hope there are a few out there that read my posts
on Karie's Daley Life.
Hugs to you all.

May Days

Oh, how I love May
Isn't it a sweet month?
The earth is unfolding in it's
Beautiful green finery

And Flowers are blooming at
Mother Natures Throne
My heart sings with joy for May
I have so many dreams and aspirations for the coming months.
As a child I remember the celebration of May
May Day. . .we danced and sang and braided the May Pole,
Do you remember the May Pole?
Next weekend we celebrate Mother's Day
I think it is appropriate that Mother's Day should come in May
With the renewing of the Springtime birth of the Earth
What better time to celebrate Motherhood.
The most tender of callings, the most cherished of life work
The crowing nobility of Womanhood is
Motherhood.
Beautiful, Beautiful May Days. . .God bless you!

A Time For Every Season

There is a time for every season under heaven.
My heart is full of sadness tonight.
One event two people.
The cycle of life.
My friend is experiencing the worst
Night mare a parent could experience.
The lose of a child. An adult child.
My heart aches for her as I have witnessed her
Suffering and her pain.
With my deep faith in God, I still tremble when
Something like this happens.  Oh, why, oh why?
But, I know that the great God of this Universe
Knows the "whys". . .He know ALL.
And He know her broken heart, he will heal
He will mend. There is no question about that.

A Great-Grandpa is dying. . His journey is complete
His loss will be profound, and he will be missed.
Tears are shed, good-byes are said.
At the edge of his night the beauty of death is evident.
A long life. . .A loving family. . Dear friends.
All part of the journey of Life.

So at the end of the day and in the quiet of my home.
I bow my head, and ask for mercy and love.
I thankfully ask the Lord for His tender mercies to be
Upon me and my family.
May His strength be my mantle.
May I firmly stand on His sure foundation.
May I trust in His wisdom and
May I know that He Is God.

If I had never suffered pain and heartache
How could I know of His tender love
And His Power to Heal and Make whole again.
